文法填空練習 (Part 5)

先看空格在句中的位置：
• 主詞位置 → 名詞
• 動詞後修飾 → 副詞
• 名詞前修飾 → 形容詞
• be動詞後 → 形容詞或被動(p.p.)

• 主詞做動作 → 主動語態
• 主詞被做動作 → 被動 (be + p.p.)
• 過去事件 → 過去式
• 已完成結果 → 現在完成式

• 讓步關係 → although / even though
• 因果關係 → because / since
• 對比關係 → however / whereas
• 條件關係 → if / unless

• by + 截止日期（期限）
• within + 時間範圍（之內）
• due to = because of（因為）
• regardless of（不管、不論）

TOEIC 正式商業英文幾乎不用 very：
• very good → excellent
• very important → crucial / essential
• 選項出現 very 通常是干擾項
• 優先選更精確的副詞（highly, extremely 等）

看到 must 後面挖空，直接選原形動詞：
• must submit（必須提交）
• must comply with（必須遵守）
• 所有助動詞後面都接原形：
  will / can / should / may / must + V原形

主詞是無生命事物時，優先選被動語態：
• The report ______ → was submitted
• The policy ______ → has been revised
• 無生命主詞不能「主動做事」
• 看到物品/文件/制度當主詞，先刪主動選項

by 前面挖空，優先猜被動語態：
• ______ by the director → approved
• ______ by all employees → was signed
• 看到 by + 人/單位 → 被動結構
• 選項中找 V.pp 或 be + V.pp

be 動詞和過去分詞中間挖空，選副詞：
• is frequently used
• was carefully reviewed
• 優先找 -ly 結尾的選項
• 副詞插在 be 與 V.pp 之間修飾動作

have/has been V-ing + 空格，就是 since 跟 for 二選一：
• 時間點 → since（since 2020 / since Monday）
• 一段時間 → for（for three years / for a week）
• has been working ______ last April → since
• has been running ______ two hours → for

被動語態後面挖空，優先選介系詞 by：
• was approved by the manager
• will be reviewed by the committee
• be + V.pp + ______ + 人/單位 → by
• 其他常見搭配：with / for / from

過去式 / 過去分詞後面挖空，優先選副詞：
• increased significantly
• was completed successfully
• 動詞後方修飾動作 → 副詞
• 注意區分 V.ed + N（形容詞）的情況

看到 to ______ 空格，優先選原形動詞：
• to + V原形（不定詞）
• 例：in order to improve
• 例：decided to postpone
• 注意：look forward to + V-ing（例外）
